Create WordPress Staging Site

A staging site clones your current live production site on a separate environment. This allows you to make changes, test scripts, use themes without affecting your original WordPress site. Follow the instructions below on how to create a WordPress Staging Site.

Step 1. Log in to your Account Manager.

Step 2. Click on WordPress category.

Step 3.  Click on the drop-down arrow of the WordPress site.

Step 4. Click “Staging” tab.

Step 5. Click “Create Staging” button.

Step 6. Click “Confirm & Create” button.

The system will then process the request which will take a few minutes to be completed.

Once completed, a system generated staging site URL will be created together with a separate phpMyAdmin and SSH/SFTP credentials.

To access the staging site WordPress dashboard, click “WP Panel” and select the staging site URL.
